THE BATTLE OF STALINGRAD – THE PROGRAMME OF THE JUBILEE TOUR Day 1 – Arrival in Pshemishel (or direct in Kiev). Change for "Dzherelo" train. Welcome dinner. Night transfer to Kiev. Day 2 – Arrival in Kiev. Sightseeing with visit St.Sophia Cathedral, Museum WW2. Overnight transfer to Kharkov Day 3 – Arrival in Kharkov. Visit the burial places of German, Polish, Ukrainian and Soviet soldiers, the memorial in honour of the fallen in the WW2. Transfer to Volgograd Day 4 – Arrival in Volgograd. Accommodation the hotel "Intourist". Sightseeing Day 5 – Continue the programme in Volgograd with visit the memorial complex "Malakhov Kurgan" and the most famous places of the Stalingrad battle: Metelka, Spartanovka, Tractor plant, the place of landing the 13th Guards Army, the river of Tsaritsa, Elevator Day 6 – Continue the programme in Volgograd with visit the battle fields; the Museum of the Stalingrad Battle. Return to train. Transfer to Lugansk Day 7 – 2-hour stop in Lugansk. Sightseeing. Transfer to Lvov Day 8 – "Dzherelo" train transfer via Lvov to Pshemishel. Departure home.
This programme is of interest for the lovers of military history and. particularly for those who are interested in the events and, battles of the Soviet and german Armies during the WW2. This tour takes place on the territory of Russia and Ukraine on board the comfortable train-hotel "Dzherelo". The programme of the tour includes numerous meetings with specialists and fans of the military history, visits to museums, the battle fields. Field Forces with acquaintance with the military life, with culture of Ukraine and Russian Cossaks and national fish cuisine of the South Russia. The number of clients in the group - from 25 to 55. Day 2 - Breakfast. Arrival to Dnepropetrovsk.Bus/food sightseeing' town. Transfer to Zaporozjer. Bus sightseeing with visit to "Dneprogas".Excurssion to the Khortitza island - the capital of the Zaporozjer Cossaks, visit to the museum. Transfer by train to Rostov/Don. Day 3 - Breakfast. Arrival to Rostov/Don.Bus sightseeing town. Bus transfer to Azov (the Turkish fortress of the coast of the Azov sea defeated by Peter 1 - the South fortress of the Russian state of 18 century). Return to Rostov/Don. Lunch in a local reataurant. Ship trip to the ancient capital of the Don Cossaks-Starocherkassk. Sightseeing with visit to the Don Cossak Museum and cathedral. Concert of the Don Cossak ensemble. Return.to Rostov/Don. Dinner on board the "Dzherelo" train. Transfer to Novorossiisk Day 4 - Breakfast. Arrival to Novorossiisk. Bus/foot sightseeing with visit to the "Malaya Zemlya" memorial complex - the heroic discend of the Soviet Army during WW2. Visit to the memorial place connected with the Russian squadron sunk in 1918. Visit to the local museum. Transfer by train to Volgograd with a stop in Krasnodar, the capital of the Kuban Cossaks. Short sightseeing town. Dinner on board the train. Day 5 - Breakfast. Train transfer to the famouse Salsky steppes with assistance of a local guide on board the train. Lunch on board the train. Arrival to Volgograd. Bus sightseeing town with visit to the memorial complex on the Mamaev hill. Accommbdation the "Int ourist" hotel. Dinner and overnight in hotel. Day 6 - Breakfast in hotel. Visit to the"Panorama of Stalingrad Battle". Visit to the Soldier Battle Field. Lunch in a city restaurant. Excurssion to the Volgo/Don channel. Bus transfer to battle fields of the Stalingrad battle (on separate order). In the evening visit to the State Academissian Cossak Ensemble. Dinner on board the train. Transfer to Astrakhan. Day 7 - Breakfast. Arrival to Astrakhan. Bus/food sightseeing town with visit to the Astrakhan Kremle of 16 cent. Ship transfer to the mouth.of the Volga river with visits to the lotos fields, participation in the sturgeon fishing. Picnique-lunch - with tasting sturgeon, sturgeon and black caviar. Dinner on board the train. Transfer to Volgograd. Day 8 -Arrival to Volgograd. Breakfast on board the train. Continue sightseeing town (see the objects of Day 7). Return to the train. .Lunch on board the train. . Transfer to Voronez. Dinner on board the train. Day 9 - Arrival to Voronez. Breakfast on board the train. Visits to the museum with expositions of the first Russian fleet built by Peter 1. Sightseeing town. Lunch on board the train. Transfer to Kiev. Day 10 -Arrival in Kiev. Breakfast on board the train. Excursion to Kievo-Pecherskaya Lavra or visit to the "Lutez ,Plazdarm" (liberation of Kiev in 1943) or free time. Transfer to airport. END of the programme.

Day 3 - arrival in Sevastopol meeting at the station by the Ukraine navy orchestra visit to the Panorams and the museum of the Crimea war 1854-1855, visit to the Malakvov burial mound - the battle field of the Crimea war, lunch in the Sevastopol restaurant, accommodation in the "Crimea" hotel, sightseeing Sevastopol by boat along the beach - visit to the museum of the Black Sea Navy and the Vladimir Cathedral-burial vault of Russian admirals, dinner at the "Crimea" hotel restaurant, overnight in hotel.
Day 5 - breakfast in the hotel restaurant ,free time, transfer to Soodak , lunch in one of the restaurants on the beach of the Black sea ,visit to the Genues fortress in Soodak , transfer to Simpheropol ,accommodation on the "Dzherelo" train ,dinner on board the train,overnight transfer by "Dzherelo" train to Poltava. Day 6 - arrival in Poltava, visit to the museum of the Poltava battle 1709 between Russian and Swedish armies, visit to the original battle fields of 1709 (redouts, the General Headquarters of Peter 1 and Karl XFI and etc.). lunch in the local restaurant, free time, transfer to Kiev. Day 7 - breakfast on board the train, arrival in Kiev, transfer by bus to the hotel, accommodation, sightseeing programme, lunch in the city restaurant,visit to the museum of the WW2, free time, farewell dinner with a folk ensemble in the Cinema Hall restaurant "Vavilon" Day 8 - breakfast in the hotel restaurant,visit to the museum "Kiev Defence Fortresses of 17-18 cent.,lunch in the city restaurant,transfer to the Borispol airport.
